Furnace and HVAC care in Maryland’s Fall season

While we offer regular HVAC maintenance plans in Maryland there are some things you can do to help yourself.  With Fall here and Winter coming into the picture the leaves are almost done falling.  That not only means that there is raking in the yard but your HVAC components like AC units, Backup generators. Heat pumps and most any other outdoor pieces of your Heating and Cooling needs.

HVAC Heating and Cooling in Maryland“Leaving the leaves” pun intended – or other invasive things like saplings or vines to grow into the units can cause issues.   Your efficiency will fall as the radiating parts of the system clog and cannot get rid of the heat as well as they should.  Eventually the contaminants can cause premature corrosion and lead to a complete malfunction.  If left long enough lines can be damaged and leaking occurs.

Take a few minutes and look over the area around any of your outdoor HVAC system when you give the yard the last cutting of the year or when you do a little raking, weeding or feeding of your landscape and you’ll be glad you did.  If you have any questions of your system or want to hear more about our HVAC maintenance plans give us a call and setup an appointment.  We are more than happy to serve our core areas of Annapolis, Laurel, Bowie, College Park, Glen Burnie, Crofton, Pasadena Maryland as well as the entire AA, PG and Howard County Maryland
